Recently, a batch of marine anchor chains and accessories produced by the group's wholly-owned subsidiary, China Shipping Anchor Chain (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., for a shipyard under China State Shipbuilding Corporation, successfully passed the inspection of the China Classification Society (CCS) and obtained the world's first Marine Product Certificate with a "Carbon Footprint Green Additional Mark" for marine anchor chains .
This certificate not only records the quality and performance of a batch of marine anchor chain products, but also provides clear, verifiable, traceable, and third-party verified carbon footprint information, reflecting the new progress made by China Shipping Anchor Chain in green manufacturing, customer value creation, and corporate social responsibility. This is another important achievement of China's shipbuilding supporting industry in actively implementing the national "dual carbon" strategy and promoting the construction of a green and low-carbon supply chain.

I. Dual certifications endorse green manufacturing
Previously, the Jiangsu Branch of the China Classification Society issued a "Certificate of Recognition for Carbon Footprint Green Label for Marine Products" to China Shipping Anchor Chain. This certificate is at the manufacturer recognition level, focusing on recognizing China Shipping Anchor Chain's comprehensive capabilities in areas such as production site, carbon footprint accounting system, data collection mechanism, production process control, and continuous manufacturing of products with green label.
This certification links carbon footprint information to specific product numbers and delivery batches, enabling the green attributes of products to be identified, verified, and traced.
From factory approval to product certification, it signifies that China Shipping Anchor Chain has fully established a closed loop covering carbon data collection, production process management, product carbon footprint accounting, third-party inspection, and product delivery with a carbon footprint green label. This marks a further extension of China Shipping Anchor Chain's green manufacturing capabilities to green management throughout the entire product lifecycle, successfully achieving an effective transformation from "manufacturing capabilities" to "green product delivery."
