  "Everyone talks about safety and everyone knows how to handle emergencies - identify potential safety hazards around us." To continuously enhance the safety awareness of all staff and consolidate the foundation of safe production, CSAC Group - China Shipping Marine Equipment (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. officially kicked off the 24th National "Work Safety Month" series of activities on the morning of June 4, 2025. Work safety is the lifeline of an enterprise's development and an inescapable responsibility on the shoulders of every employee.

  At the launch ceremony, Yang Ying, the vice president of CSAC Group, delivered a motivational speech, emphasizing the core importance of safety with the cautionary statement: "Safety production is the foundation for the enterprise's survival and the stabilizer for social stability. This string must be kept taut at all times. We must adopt the determination of 'taking responsibility seriously, taking actions firmly, and implementing thoroughly', and integrate the safety concept into every work process!"

  This year's event focused on the theme of "Identifying Safety Hazards Around Us". Under the guidance of the safety and environmental protection minister and enterprise representatives, it required all employees to achieve "three combinations": 

1. Combine with hazard investigation and governance: Each department of the company should carry out activities such as "Self-reporting of Safety Hazards" and "I Search for Safety Hazards", and mobilize all employees to participate in hazard investigation. For identified hazards, a ledger should be established, responsibilities should be clarified, and timely rectification should be carried out, ensuring that "minor hazards are not left overnight and major hazards are not abandoned". 

2. Combine with the improvement of emergency response capabilities: Organize the "Safety Training Week" activity, and conduct training and drills for common accidents such as fires, leaks, and collapses. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen the emergency response training for grassroots employees, ensuring that everyone knows how to use fire extinguishers, how to wear gas masks, and how to organize evacuation and escape. 

3. Combine with the construction of safety culture: Utilize the "Safety Production Publicity Month" as a platform to popularize safety knowledge and promote safety culture. Let the concepts of "Safety is the Greatest Benefit" and "Hazards are Accidents" take root in people's minds, creating a strong atmosphere where "Everyone Talks about Safety and Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies".

  Safety production is of paramount importance. Fu Jihe, the assistant general manager and production department head of China Shipping Mooring Chain Company, led all departments to take an oath and required each department to strictly implement the "four responsibilities": 

1. Leadership responsibility: All department leaders should take the lead in fulfilling the "one position, dual responsibilities", coordinating the deployment, implementation, inspection and assessment of safety production with business work. 

2. Departmental responsibility: The safety management department should strengthen supervision and have "zero tolerance" for violations; business departments should fulfill their primary responsibilities and ensure that "managing business must involve managing safety". 

3. Positional responsibility: Every employee should sign a safety commitment letter, strictly follow operating procedures, and eliminate "three violations" behaviors. 

4. Supervisory responsibility: Encourage employees to report hazards and offer rewards for those who report accurately, so that hazards have nowhere to hide.

Strengthen implementation and hand in a "qualified sheet" for work safety

In safety production, there are no "spectators", only "responsible persons". Each department should take this event as an opportunity to achieve "three points": 

1. Mobilization and deployment are in place: formulate detailed activity plans, clearly define tasks and assign responsibilities to individuals. 

2. Education and publicity are in place: utilize pre-shift meetings, safety regular meetings, publicity boards, etc., to widely disseminate safety knowledge. 

3. Supervision and assessment are in place: conduct special inspections on the implementation of the activity and hold accountable units and individuals who perform poorly seriously.  

The opening ceremony came to an end amid solemn pledges. All employees lined up neatly and solemnly signed their names on the safety mobilization banner in sequence. Every stroke and every sign is a commitment to life, and every signature is an assumption of responsibility. The bright red banner gradually converges into a web of responsibility, carrying the firm belief of CSAC people in safe production.

  Safety production is a "zero-risk project" that cannot afford any negligence. Let's take the "Safety Production Month" as an opportunity, with a sense of responsibility that "we can never be complacent" and a sense of execution that "everything must be done to the fullest", jointly build a "steel wall and iron curtain" for safety production, safeguard the high-quality development of the company, and provide a blue sky for family happiness and harmony!
